GOT7 (갓세븐)’s BAMBAM (แบมแบม/뱀뱀) has been the talk of the town earlier this year regarding his concerning mental health issues. His situation began worrying fans and friends, who reached out to him through numerous social media, including band member Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨).
Aside from Jackson, another concerned bandmate, Jay B (임재범), told fans his point of view about a conversation he had with BAMBAM regarding his mental health. He shared about the conversation during a live broadcast that was held over the weekend. Here’s what happened:

Recently (Friday, 1st November), Jay B was discharged from his mandatory service duties and held an Instagram live on the weekend to chat with the fans, Ahgases, post-discharge. Amid the chat with fans, the idol answered their question about him reaching out to BAMBAM when the lad posted concerning posts on his Instagram and Twitter.
Being known as the caring and responsible leader he is, the singer told fans that he called his member right away after noticing the posts, where BAMBAM replied to Jay B, claiming that he was fine. “So I asked him why you posted something like that, and he told me that he wasn’t in the right headspace at the time,” he added. He also assured the Thai artist to contact him whenever he needed someone to rely on.

Despite being known for their constant bickering by Ahgases, the bond between Jayb B and BAMBAM caught fans’ hearts. Fans took to social media, expressing how touched they felt by the brotherhood bond the members had with each other even after going their separate ways to focus on solo projects. Others also praised the GOT7 leader for his warm-hearted actions as the group’s leader and added that Jay B portrays a brotherly figure, not only towards BAMBAM but to the other members as well.
