Recently, Dewi was invited to the Astro Gempak podcast, where she shared her side of the story about her involvement with someone else’s husband.
While many might expect a betrayed wife to react with anger and outrage, Cik Epal took a different approach. Known for her strong and confident persona, she decided to address the situation with grace and composure. In her post, Cik Epal wrote, “For now, I don’t think there is any need for me to give an explanation. All of the things that happened didn’t originally come from me uploading any statements,” she added with a hint of humour. “But if someone wants to pay me RM100,000 to participate in a podcast, then I might consider it.”
Her calm yet confident tone resonated with her followers, and the post quickly went viral, amassing 37.4K likes and 2,122 comments within a short period. The post also caught the attention of popular singer and motivational speaker Caprice, who left a comment that quickly gained traction.
Caprice jokingly wrote, “100K ons,” indicating that he was willing to put up the RM100,000 she mentioned. Caprice, never one to shy away from the spotlight, also made a video resume, humorously requesting Astro Gempak to invite him to join their podcast. In a surprising turn of events, Astro Gempak responded to his video, officially inviting him for a podcast appearance this Friday.
The comments section under Cik Epal’s Instagram post was also flooded with supportive messages. Many praised her dignified response to the situation, choosing not to engage in a public spat or air her grievances in an emotional outburst. A number of netizens speculated that Dewi’s actions were intended to provoke Cik Epal, attempting to stir up drama and get a reaction from her. Many users commended the mother of two for maintaining her silence and not over-explaining herself, which they viewed as a sign of maturity and strength.
Meanwhile, Dewi posted an Instagram story responding to a personal comment from an unknown user regarding her appearance on the podcast, saying she wants to close this chapter and move forward. As for Jofliam, he hasn’t posted anything since after his now-expired Instagram story where he claimed that he is no longer someone’s husband.
