Over the weekend, the Goddess of Nature Malaysia Pageant (马来西亚全能女神竞选) held their finale in Shah Alam, where 27-year-old Terra Moon (温于婷) was crowned the winner. Terra will soon represent Malaysia in the TVB Miss Chinese International Pageant (国际中华小姐竞选) next year.
On 22nd September 2024 (Sunday), the beauty queen beat ten other contestants for the coveted spot of the Goddess Of Nature Malaysia. Terra also won the Best Smile award, making her a double winner during the night. The Goddess of Nature pageant also served as the Malaysia qualifier for the Miss Chinese International Pageant, set for February 2025. As the winner, Terra will proudly represent Malaysia in the international pageant.
During the press conference, Terra shared her reaction to being crowned the winner. In her speech, she thanked all her family and friends who tirelessly supported her in the past six months as she prepared for the competition. The pageant winner also said she’ll soon start preparing for the TVB Miss Chinese International, sharing her ambition to share the culture of Malaysia with the world. She also revealed she’s brushing up on her Cantonese to get an edge in the competition.
Hong Kong actress Grace Chan (陈凯琳) was also present at the event, acting as one of the judges. When talking about the contestants, the star praised them, saying they performed well despite only having a few months to train. As 2014’s Miss Chinese International, Grace also shared advice for Terra, saying she shouldn’t put too much pressure on herself. She added, “All the participants are champions from their respective countries, so you’re all already winners. Just try to relax and enjoy yourself.”
The Goddess of Nature Malaysia pageant also crowned 24-year-old Jacy Chan (陈玟蒽) as the first runner-up and 25-year-old Mia Tong (汤旻晏) as the second runner-up. Congratulations to all the winners, and good luck to Terra in her next pageant journey!
