Earlier this month, pop icon and founder of the digital auction platform JOOPITER, Pharrell Williams, made a stop in Seoul to host an exclusive online auction featuring fashion collectibles and personal items from none other than K-pop legend, G-Dragon (지드래곤). The auction, titled “Nothing but a ‘G’ Thang: The Art & Archive of G-Dragon,” ran until 10th September.
Famous for his “One of a Kind” and flawless fashion sense, fans were eager to snag some of the BIGBANG (빅뱅) member’s prized possessions. With G-Dragon’s solo comeback just around the corner, the auction was met with massive success, raking in a total profit of $1,203,125 (RM5,224,987.91). Here are the top 12 highest-selling items from the event:
1. G-Dragon SAGA FURS

A vibrant and iconic colourful 100% fox fur coat, famously worn by G-Dragon during his solo performances on the 2015 BIGBANG MADE TOUR and his iconic 2014 MAMA solo rap performance in Hong Kong. This coat holds deep sentimental value to both G-Dragon and fans, who remember these legendary moments in K-pop history.

2. G-Dragon Daisy Lapel Pin

This PEACEMINUSONE daisy lapel pin was crafted by the legendary jeweller Jacob & Co. himself, exclusive for this JOOPITER auction. Featuring 9.31ct round brilliant cut white diamonds, 1.94ct round yellow sapphires, and 4.20ct round tsavorites set in 18K White Gold, this pin is both jewellery and a wearable work of art.

It features signature details like the signature flower on the tongue and black paint on the soles, and comes with a unique box designed by the singer, complete with plastic daisies inside.

This canvas reflects the artist’s signature style and emotional depth from that era. On the other hand, Personal Art 5 Untitled. 2017 stands out as one of G-Dragon’s most iconic works, made from oil on canvas and framed under glass, emphasising its unique artistic presence.
