Get ready, VIPs – because BIGBANG’s (빅뱅) Taeyang (태양) is making his return to Malaysia this December! The award-winning vocalist is performing at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur as part of his “The Light Year” tour!

The renowned K-pop star dropped the exciting news via social media, announcing his long-awaited return to Malaysia. According to the poster, Taeyang will perform at Axiata Arena on 7th December 2024 (Saturday). Live Nation Malaysia and Dream Factory Entertainment will serve as the concert organisers. Ticket prices will be released soon, but ticket sales will start on 7th October 2024 (Monday) via etix.my.

Taeyang is a respected figure in the K-pop industry, having made his debut as the main vocalist of BIGBANG. He’s also made a name for himself as a solo artist, releasing timeless hits like “Eyes, Nose, Lips (눈, 코, 입)” and “I Need A Girl”. He recently held his “The Light Year” concert in Seoul, which also went viral for featuring an impromptu BIGBANG reunion when fellow members G-Dragon (지드래곤) and Daesung (대성) went up on stage to perform with him.

Speaking of performances, the last time Taeyang performed in Malaysia was at the 2023 Borneo Sonic Music Festival in Sarawak. However, his last solo concert here was his “White Night World Tour In Kuala Lumpur”, which took place over seven years ago. Given how long it’s been since his last show in Malaysia, it’s no surprise that fans are ecstatic about the new concert announcement. If you’re also eager to catch Taeyang live at Axiata Arena, here are the details of his concert:
