It’s certainly not easy for any loving parent to be separated from their children. Malaysian-born entrepreneur Nur Sajat has had her heartbroken twice for not being able to see her adopted twins Syaza and Syahmi; the first time when she had no choice but to flee Malaysia and the second time when she was denied entry to Singapore.

The mother-of-two has since longed for the day she’ll be reunited with her children and that day has finally arrived for the family. Yesterday (Tuesday, 3rd September), Sajat posted two photos of her happily posing with her kids after 4 years of not being together.

Later that evening, the businesswoman did a livestream on TikTok to talk about reuniting with her twins in Singapore. “It was a surprise. When they saw it was me, they screamed, ‘It’s Umi!’. They were not expecting to see me in person,” she said as her daughter Syaza was seen exiting her bedroom in the background.

The entrepreneur shared they were very emotional as soon as they were reunited. She also recalled the heart-shattering day she had to leave them when they were just toddlers. “I cried as soon as they were in my sight. I left them when they were 5 years old. They are 9 now. Only God knows how truly happy I am to see my kids again,” she stated. At one point during the broadcast, Sajat acknowledged that she may not be a perfect human being but she loves being a parent to her twins.

The 39-year-old then invited her daughter to appear in the livestream with her where the two of them talked about the moment they had to say their goodbyes. Fans and even celebrity friends were overjoyed that Sajat was able to reunite with her children. Actresses Nabila Huda, Diana Danielle, Sharifah Shahirah and Nad Zainal were among the Malaysian celebrities who expressed their excitement for the entrepreneur’s family on her Instagram.

Unfortunately, it is still not possible for Syaza and Syahmi to live with their mother in Australia but for now, let them enjoy their very long overdue reunion. We’re personally glad that they got to see each other again.
