After going through auditions, talent showcases and earning the audience’s votes, the new Mister Global Malaysia has finally been crowned. At the Grand Finale, which was held on Tuesday (3rd September) at Datum Jelatek Mall, the prestigious beauty pageant officially declared contestant Siranjivy Karpaya as the winner of this year’s Mister Global Malaysia.
The model will now be representing our country for the international Mister Global pageant in Thailand later this month but before he jets off to compete in the competition, how about we learn a thing or two about Siranjivy? Here are 5 fun facts about the new Mister Global Malaysia:
1. He was the 2nd Runner Up For Mr India Malaysia 2023
Mr Global Malaysia is obviously not Siranjivy’s first rodeo. He has participated in multiple beauty pageants in the past, including last year’s Mr India Malaysia where he was announced as the competition’s 2nd Runner Up. These achievements prove that he has what it takes to represent his country in international pageants.
2. He served as a judge for Miss & Mrs Tamizhachi Malaysia 2024
The young influencer is more than just his good looks as he possesses knowledge of how one can win a beauty pageant. Siranjivy was once a judge for the Miss and Mrs Tamizhachi Malaysia 2024 held earlier this year. The other panel of judges who joined him that evening were Malaysian actress Krithigah Kayal and Miss International Malaysia 2023 Lolitha.
3. He is the CEO of two fashion brands
He is not only a beauty pageant winner but he is an entrepreneur as well. According to Siranjivy’s Instagram page, he is the CEO of Niketaa Designers and G Paruttie Collections. Both boutique stores specialise in modern and traditional Indian fashion and have showcased their designs on the runway at the Kuala Lumpur Indian Fashion Week, which was held back in April of this year.
4. He is a dancer & martial artist
We have yet to see Siranjivy properly showcasing his dancing abilities but the Mister Global winner has posted a video of him doing simple dance moves in a studio. Although the moves may not be complex, we can see that he has good control over his body to execute them smoothly. Apart from dancing, the model has also demonstrated his Silambam martial arts skills in a video posted on the official Mister Global Malaysia’s IG account.
5. He’s starring in a movie?
There is little information about the project but we still think it’s worth mentioning. The influencer shared a few behind-the-scenes posts on Instagram earlier this year about his involvement in a film or series titled “Maayai”. According to one of his posts, the production team finished filming back in April but a release date for the project has yet to be announced. Guess we’ll wait and see what role Siranjivy will play.
