The Black Label recently introduced the third member of their highly anticipated girl group, MEOVV (미야오), on 25th August 2024. This latest announcement follows the unveiling of Ella Gross (엘라 메켄지 그로스) and Gawon (가원), further fueling excitement for the group’s debut.
The new member, Sooin (수인), has already made a significant impact with her debut video, which diverged from the traditional teaser format. Instead of a simple introduction, her video presented a gripping narrative of her fighting masked assailants, seamlessly transitioning to showcase her impressive dance skills. This dynamic presentation highlights her versatility and stage presence, setting high expectations for her role within the group.
Born in 2005, Kim Sooin (김수인) is a former student of the prestigious School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) and is fluent in English, which adds to her international appeal. However, it is her striking resemblance to beloved actress Bae Suzy (배수지) that has garnered significant attention. The similarities between her and the actress are evident, particularly in their facial structures and eye shapes. Fans have noted that the resemblance is even more pronounced when Sooin’s hairstyle echoes Suzy’s iconic hime cut.
The comparison to the actress is not just limited to her appearance. Many fans and commentators have drawn parallels between Sooin and Kazuha (카즈하) from LE SSERAFIM (르세라핌), who is also known for her similarity to Suzy. This recurring resemblance has sparked a trend of calling Sooin the “sister” of Kazuha.
