Malaysia continues to be a surprisingly popular travel destination for Chinese celebrities. Following in the footsteps of stars like Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/잭슨) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Chinese singer Liu YuXin (刘雨昕) revealed that she was also recently in the country.
The singer, also known as Xin Liu, recently took to Weibo to share a few photos taken while in Malaysia. In the post captioned, “Malaysia was delicious”, Liu YuXin shared photos taken in Melaka and the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. The post included snapshots of the PETRONAS Twin Towers and an overview of the KL skyline and the city at night. Besides photos of landmarks, the celeb shared pictures of the delicacies she tried in Malaysia, including a spicy squid dish, a trendy dessert and noodles in tom yum soup.
According to news reports, the 27-year-old was in the country for a holiday trip, spending time with her family. A few days prior, Liu YuXin shared a video of her riding an ATV along a beach through her Weibo account. Many eagle-eyed Malaysian fans quickly recognised the place as Klebang Beach in Melaka. On XiaoHongShu, one lucky fan revealed they met the star by chance while dining in a Nyonya restaurant in the coastal state.
Many Malaysian fans were pleasantly surprised to learn that the star was recently in their home country. Some fans also voiced excitement about the dishes she tried in the country, saying they would also like to try them. On the other hand, many fans also hoped she had a great trip when she was here and wished she would return to Malaysia soon.
We also hope that Liu YuXin had a great time during her Malaysian trip. Perhaps the memories she made could persuade her to hold a concert here soon.
