Beloved local girl group DOLLA recently completed their first solo concert last Saturday (3rd August 2024), and it was a smashing success! Many fans and notable celebs attended the concert – but actor Amir Ahnaf’s appearance led some to question his relationship with the DOLLA members, specifically Angel.
The three-member girl group recently held a post-concert press conference, during which a media outlet mentioned Amir’s attendance at the concert. Previously, there were rumours that Amir and Angel were an item after fans noted that the two young stars would often appear on each other’s social media posts. However, Angel denies the rumours, saying Amir only attended the show as a friend.
In the video, the singer, whose real name is Angelina Chai Ka Ying, said she invited Amir to the concert after the actor asked if he could attend the show. Given that the members were allowed to invite their friends, Angel extended the invitation to the actor. When asked how the two first met, the 24-year-old explained that their friendship began after collaborating on a TikTok video during an event. She added that she had invited her other friends to the concert, including actor Hazeeq Dean.
Despite Angel denying a romantic relationship between her and Amir, some fans aren’t convinced. Many noted that fellow members Tabby and Sabronzo seemed suspicious, giggling when the news outlet mentioned Amir’s name. On the other hand, fans said there’s nothing wrong with Amir attending the concert, so it shouldn’t be a “hint” at any romance between the two.
