Another week, another whirlwind of totally EXTRA events! We were here, there and everywhere!
We hung out with the Wang-and-only Jackson Wang and LV, revelled in the victory of the opening of UNDEFEATED’s store at The Exhchange TRX, and more. We were on the scene, and vibing like a boss! Just check out our social diary for this past week (don’t be jelly!):
Louis Vuitton Pavilion KL Launch With Jackson Wang
The excitement was very real. As soon as Jackson Wang exited his vehicle, fans’ screams could be heard throughout the whole Bukit Bintang area. The idol, who is also the global brand ambassador of Louis Vuitton, made a special appearance for the fashion label’s launch of its largest Malaysian outlet, located at Pavilion KL. Jackson even surprised a lucky couple with a special present!
We were there to witness all the fun and thrills that evening, and even explored the huge and gorgeous flagship boutique which offers a wide range of outfits, bags and accessories. Here’s what went down at the launch:

Stadium Merdeka & Merdeka 118 Tour
It’s not every day that we get to revisit a truly exceptional landmark; luckily, we were granted this very opportunity when we were invited to visit the Merdeka 118 tower, where we not only got a glimpse of the exceptional scenery, but also a first look at the nearby soon-to-be-reopened Stadium Merdeka. We took a trip down memory lane and revisited the glorious history that the stadium was witness to.
Not only is it being restored to its former glory, the stadium is also being placed under conservation, with PNB as its sole custodian. You can be a part of history as well if you visit on 17th August, when the Stadium will fully reopen and host The Sultan of Selangor’s Cup (TSSC). The public is welcome to participate in events, volunteer, and attend different programmes. The Stadium Merdeka social media pages provide information for your reference. Nihon Matsuri 2024 Launch
The annual Japanese cultural festival Nihon Matsuri has officially returned! Brought to you by Trumpet International, the festival is dedicated to celebrating Japanese pop and traditional culture through food, music, art, and interactive experiences from 25th – 28th July and 1st – 4th August.
Apart from the fun activities and attractions, one of the highlights of the festival is that if you make a purchase of the manekineko figures at the event, a portion of the sales will be donated to SPCA for their neutered fund programme! UNDEFEATED Opens First Store In Malaysia
The Exchange TRX recently welcomed the opening of the maiden outlet of another major brand – UNDEFEATED. The streetwear label has finally ventured into Malaysia and made its debut right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
The store’s minimalist design may remind you of its counterparts in Japan and China, and is a wonder in itself. Local fans can now visit the store and check out the iconic tees which boast notorious brand statements in bold lettering, various brand collabs, caps, sneakers, and more. Sunway Group’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Launch
Sunway Malls is ringing in Sunway Group’s momentous 50th Anniversary – Cheers to 50 – with a spectacular bang across its malls nationwide. Red Box Karaoke Opens Outlet At The Exchange TRX
Red Box Karaoke recently launched its newest Malaysian outlet at The Exchange TRX. The state-of-the-art karaoke rooms at Red Box Plus, have been thoughtfully designed to provide an immersive experience for tourists and locals alike.
Equipped with cutting-edge audio by JBL, as well as advanced visual systems, guests will enjoy crystal-clear sound and stunning visuals, elevating their karaoke sessions to new heights. The Olympics Arrive At Pavilion KL
Experience the thrill of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Centre Court, thanks to Visa and Maybank, from now until 28th July. Step into the Olympic Village Plazza of Paris pop-up, where you can enter through a replica of the Arc de Triomphe and enjoy a variety of interactive sports games, including football, basketball, and sprinting.
