Bella Marie France x HK Actress Sisley Choi

Pavilion KL’s Tokyo Street Celebrates 13th Anniversary
Tokyo Street, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s award-winning cultural precinct, is set to celebrate its 13th anniversary with an exciting ‘Maneki Neko Matsuri’ themed campaign.
Throughout this month, the celebration will be infused with kawaii culture and traditional Japanese charm. Step into the glitz and glamour of Japan with various choices available in Tokyo Street; from maneki neko-themed stores with different variations of your favourite lucky cat, a green tea haven for matcha lovers, and rich, puréed sweet treats for the soul.
From now until 13th August, shoppers can indulge in various Japanese experiential activities including maneki neko workshops such as lucky cat clay-making (21st July at 5pm); lucky cat felt bag-making (20th July at 3pm, and 27 July at 4pm); and MeArtTime painting (21st July at 12pm). Catch stunning performances throughout the campaign period, including a show by FlyHigh Orchestra on 27th July from 5pm to 6pm; and a maneki neko mascot performance on 20th and 28th July at 5pm.

Pestle & Mortar Clothing Launches “Malaysian Pride” Collection
Homegrown apparel brand Pestle & Mortar Clothing (PMC) recently launched its latest collaboration with Olympics Council Malaysia (OCM) – an exclusive collection marking the 2024 Paris Olympics. This new drop embodies the Olympic spirit, encapsulating the powerful message of “Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together.” The launch event took place at PMC’s Flagship store in APW Bangsar and was graced by Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin, Secretary General of OCM and 6 of our national athletes – Josiah Ng, Allen Ong, Rizal Tisin, Bryan Nickson, Ng Shu Wai and Mirnawan Nawawi.
The “Malaysian Pride” collection features eight exclusive items – four t-shirts, one jersey, one polo tee, one coach jacket and one cap. Each piece showcases dynamic graphics and designs inspired by the Olympic Games. This collection is a tribute to Malaysian Olympians and celebrates their dedication and achievements while capturing the vibrant Malaysian spirit and pride. Chai With The Women Of The WOW Show
Malaysia’s first uncensored all-women podcast – featuring iconic R&B singer Ning Baizura, comedian Joanne Kam, and popular radio star Shazmin Shamsuddin – will be taking to the stage for a two hour-long show on 9th and 10th August.
The WOW (women on women) Show is a Malaysian podcast which tackles issues that local women are forced to keep under wraps or never mention. The three hosts break down barriers and stereotypes, and give a voice to Malaysian women.
The special show – which will be written by none other than Sharmine Othman, and produced by Kyle Roshan with PODaBOOM – promises non-stop laughter and entertainment all night long. Here are the deets:

BOH’s 95th Anniversary Celebrations
BOH is celebrating its 95th Anniversary with a vibrant community event at 1Utama in Petaling Jaya. Under the theme “95 and Brewing for Tomorrow,” the festivities will run until Sunday, 21st July.
One of the central features of the event is the BOH Wish Tree initiative. Visitors are encouraged to share their ideas on how they can collaborate with BOH to create a better future for our planet. For every wish card submitted, BOH will donate RM20 to the Tropical Rainforest Conservation & Research Center (TRCRC) in support of Urban Biodiversity efforts. Meanwhile, BOH’s brand ambassador, Fazura, unveiled a new collection of Fazura Tudung, specially designed for BOH’s 95th Anniversary.
