In recent years, Erewhon has become Los Angeles’s trendiest gourmet grocery store, making waves both in the streets and on social media. Because of that, the American fashion company, UGG, has joined forces with this American upscale supermarket to reimagine a beloved silhouette in a brand new design.
The pair has collaborated to recreate the renowned “Mustard Seed” colourway of UGG’s flagship Tazz mule, adding a tattoo-inspired palm tree design. The celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy created this palm tree design, giving a cheeky nod as well as paying homage to Los Angeles’s iconic greenery.
This new design still features all the elements that made the original Tazz mule so popular. The platform outsole gives you that of the now lifted vibe, which also provides a super-durable feel. Your feet will never feel damp or sweaty again thanks to its ultra-lush UGGplush lining and insole, which will make you feel like you’re walking on cloud nine.
If you’re a nature lover, then these slip-ons are for you, as the outsoles are made with sugarcane EVA, the same compound used in sugarcane foam. This reduces the brand’s dependency on fossil fuels as it replaces petroleum-based ethylene or a Treadlite by UGG outsole with a more sustainable material.
