Celebrities often have lookalikes, and those who resemble them usually enjoy a brief moment in the spotlight. However, this particular teenager might actually pass for looking like one of the biggest K-pop idols of today. Netizens are buzzing over the striking resemblance between a young Thai chicken stall seller and BLACKPINK’s Lisa (리사).
A video of the teenager went viral, even reaching the Malaysian algorithm on TikTok, leaving users astonished by the uncanny similarity. At first glance, you might even mistake the K-pop idol for an ordinary chicken stall owner. However, this young girl, simply helping her mother during a school break, has captured widespread attention.

The girl, named Yeehwa, was featured in several videos from the TikTok account @kingstreetfood5, which quickly gained traction after being shared by Twitter user @anthraxxx781. The doppelgänger was spotted selling fried chicken at the Wat Asokaram market in Samut Prakan province, sending social media in Thailand into a frenzy.
The Bangkok Post investigated and found that Yeehwa is a 17-year-old student who returned to Taphanhin School in Phichit province after her brief viral fame. Malaysians shared hilarious comments under both the TikTok and Twitter posts. One user commented that if the teenager were in Malaysia, she would’ve been famous and turned into an influencer. Most of the users were mainly shocked at how common the K-pop idol’s face is in Thailand.

Although shy and slightly embarrassed by the attention, Yeehwa expressed excitement about resembling the BLACKPINK member and shared her interest in the entertainment field, participating in related activities at school. She told the Bangkok Post, “I’m happy and excited to resemble an admired singer like Lisa.”
We definitely see the resemblance, although it’s not super uncanny. However, if Lisa ever decides to take a break, she can rest assured knowing her doppelgänger could easily step in.
