Chinese actress Fan Bingbing (范冰冰) is booked and busy! Besides visiting landmarks in Melaka to fulfil her duties as tourism ambassador, the star was also meeting up with some Malaysian personalities. Recently, entrepreneur and influencer Chryseis Tan revealed that she met up with Fan Bingbing while the latter is in Kuala Lumpur.
Chryseis recently took to Instagram to share several images taken with Fan Bingbing from their meeting and dinner at Hide KL, a restaurant located in the Ritz-Carlton Residences at Jalan Ampang. In her captions, she mentioned that she had a lovely time meeting the star and welcomed her to Kuala Lumpur. In her stories, the social media personality also revealed that she received some Fan Beauty products as a gift from Fan Bingbing and her manager, Jersey Chong.
If you didn’t know, the “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” actress is in Kuala Lumpur following a week-long stay in Melaka for her official appointment ceremony as the state’s tourism ambassador. Also present at the dinner was Chryseis’ family – father and Berjaya Corp owner Tan Sri Vincent Tan, husband Faliq Nasimuddin and mother Puan Sri Esther Tan. Fan Bingbing’s mother, Zhang Chuanmei (张传美), also joined the group for the evening affair.
Netizens have reacted to Chryseis and Fan Bingbing’s meeting, sharing a mix of responses. Some were shocked to see both ladies in the same frame, noting that they’re jealous that the entrepreneur was able to meet the actress. Others began comparing their appearances, noting that Fan Bingbing looks rather tired, perhaps due to her packed schedule.
However, Chryseis isn’t the only local celeb that met Fan Bingbing because DJ Leng Yein (林云) also met the 43-year-old when she first landed in Malaysia. Leng Yein’s sister Leng Sean (林仙)and husband Khen Chua also had the opportunity to meet the actress. Fan Bingbing also previously met with Empro founder Prof. Dr. Coco Alex Yeoh at the Empro store at Mid Valley Megamall.
