In case you were unaware, there will be two K-pop concerts happening tomorrow (Saturday, 22nd June)! Fans have been eager to catch Ailee (에일리) and TREASURE (트레저) live in person ever since their shows were announced so of course, they’d take the opportunity to wait for the idols at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1.
While many have anticipated that the soloist and the boy band would arrive a day before their concerts, no one expected them to actually arrive in Malaysia at the same time. Here’s what went down:
Let’s start with TREASURE. As expected, last night (Thursday, 20th June), a large crowd of Teumes (TREASURE fans) gathered at KLIA to welcome the arrival of the idol group. Fans were screaming at the top of their lungs as soon as the boys were in sight. The members can seen waving to the fans as they pass them by but due to heavy security, they weren’t able to get close enough to pose for photos with their adoring Teumes.
Still, many were glad to even catch a glimpse of TREASURE before enjoying the concert this weekend. While TREASURE fans couldn’t approach their idols, Ailee fans, however, got exactly what they wanted. Surprisingly, the singer arrived with little security so she managed to personally greet some of her Aleeans and happily sign autographs for them. A few even managed to take selfies with the “One Day” songstress.
According to multiple posts on Twitter, it was said that the soloist made her appearance shortly after TREASURE had left the airport so it can be assumed that her security team waited for the crowd to subside to avoid any chaos. There is no confirmation on whether or not she and the boy group were on the same flight. Regardless, we’re glad that they’ve all arrived safely and got to see their excited fans before the big day.
