Over the weekend, former DOLLA member Syasya and her husband Nasrullah had their wedding ceremony at the Majica Subang Hall, Selangor, where the couple shared more details about their relationship as well as clarified some rumours. Speaking of rumours, it appears that the singer has one more rumour to address.
A video of the pop star singing for her guests during the ceremony with her husband by her side went viral and fans noticed something about her figure. From the screenshot below, some have pointed out that Syasya may be expecting.
Rumours began spreading after videos of Syasya performing on stage at her wedding were posted online. Many speculated that she was sporting a “baby bump”. At one point during the performance, her husband looked as if he was trying to cover the bump with his arm, which further added to the suspicion that the rumours might be true.
The 23-year-old became aware of the speculations and quickly addressed them in an interview. “I haven’t done a test yet but I don’t think I’m pregnant. I think the dress was a little bit too tight so it looked like I had a baby bump but the truth is I’m just a bit chubby. The weight gain comes with being happily married,” she told mStar. Syasya added that she didn’t think it was necessary to address the rumours since she and her husband aren’t incredibly fit.
When asked if the couple have any plans to become parents in the future, the “DAMELO” songstress answered, “We don’t have any plans yet but if Allah were to bless us with a child then we’d be extremely grateful. As for how many children we plan to have, we’ll just leave that to Allah.” Regardless of whether or not Syasya and Nasrullah will have children one day, we wish them all the best in their future endeavours and may they have a happy and lasting marriage.
