Coldplay fans all around the world are eagerly waiting for “Moon Music”. As you may know, it’s set to be the British rock band’s forthcoming 10th studio album, a follow-up to their 2021 successful record “Music of the Spheres”. Will Coldplay continue touring to promote their new music?
A quick look at the official website shows that Coldplay is touring till November 2024 (at time of writing), with their last stops in Auckland, New Zzealand. However, we notice certain social media platforms have been sharing Coldplay’s 2025 World Tour stops.
It details the tour stops to Asia, Europe and Latin America. While this is certainly exciting news, this poster looks rather suspicious. Why would the tour still be titled “Music of the Spheres” when “Moon Music” will be already be released by then? Plus, there’s no confirmation from legit sources (both Coldplay and the organisers). So we decided to reach out to our own contacts.
We can confirm that… yes, this is a fake poster. The A-list special guests like Shakira and Martin Garrix are simply too good to be true. In addition, the month of March in 2025 happens to be Ramadan. Some of you may even recall seeing this poster online a few weeks ago when it was released as an April’s Fools Day joke by Twitter account Coldplay Access.
At least we have “Moon Music” to look forward to.
