Kasih Iris Leona has never been one to be afraid to express herself. After challenging her father actor Azhar Sulaiman’s views on who exactly was responsible for the devastation in Palestine recently, the influencer spilled more tea on a particular drama that blew up last year.
During an interview on the “Astro Gempak Most Wanted” show yesterday (Wednesday, 22nd May), the content creator shared more details about what happened between her, her ex-best friend and her ex-boyfriend. For context, Leona revealed that a certain best friend stole her ex-boyfriend and although she didn’t name anyone, many assumed it was Cupcake Aisyah.
“I spoke to my ex about what happened. We’re not friends anymore but there’s no bad blood between us. However, the other person still hasn’t apologised to me nor do I want her to be in my life anymore,” she told the interviewer. Leona then claimed that the unnamed friend went around telling everyone about what happened instead of reaching out to her, despite having the chance to do so.
The influencer clarified that the incident happened 1 year prior to posting the viral video and that she actually tried to mend her friendship with the anonymous friend but things didn’t quite work out as said friend has been avoiding her. “I tried calling and texting her but she never picked up,” she added. The 22-year-old also never expected things to have escalated the way they did after posting the TikTok video.
“I woke up and saw that it reached millions of views. But to this day, I still haven’t named who exactly was the best friend I was referring to in the video. I refuse to mention any names, I’m not admitting who it was. If the shoe fits, then it’s probably you,” she elaborated.
Apart from the drama, Leona also revealed that she’s still currently single and has not dated a Malaysian man after she ended things with her ex-boyfriend. She even admitted that she was “high maintenance” as she wanted her future man to be just as committed to the relationship as she is.
