NCT Dream (엔시티 드림)’s arrival thrilled local fans, who had an awesome time the event. Unexpectedly, their presence here (particularly from one member) has helped boost our local beverage brand.
A video posted on Twitter (Tuesday, 21st May) captured a special interaction between member Chenle (천러) and a fan during the fan sign event. In the video, the fan asked, “WHAT DID YOU ORDER AT CHAGEE?” after noticing he had a cup from the famous brand with him at the event. The artist, without hesitation, excitedly replied, “Jasmine green milk tea!”
CHAGEE Malaysia’s official Twitter account reposted the video, adding the caption, “Chenle has taste.” Praising the 22-year-old singer for his excellent choice, CHAGEE further engaged fans by asking, “Comment who should be our next brand ambassador!” This post quickly gained traction, with NCT Dream fans enthusiastically suggesting Chenle as the next brand ambassador.
Netizens’ comments on the post varied, with many suggesting their favourite K-pop idols and others proposing our esteemed Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza as the next ambassador. One netizen remarked, “Siti Nurhaliza as your local brand ambassador, please. A premium milk brand deserves an ambassador known to be number one.” However, most comments were from those eagerly naming the K-pop idol as the brand ambassador, with many saying, “OF COURSE CHENLE.” Some even shared photos of Chenle holding a CHAGEE cup, further proving his fondness for the brand.
Whether the idol will be the next brand ambassador or not, the prospect is thrilling and memorable. Thanks to Chenle, Malaysian fans have been visiting various CHAGEE outlets just order the K-pop idol’s drink of choice – Jasmine Green Milk Tea.
