It seems that Mandopop icon JJ Lin (林俊杰) has been making more stops in Malaysia lately. Earlier this month, the Singaporean singer was in town to race at the Sepang International Circuit – and more recently, the star stopped by a local cafe to enjoy some coffee.
JJ Lin recently took to Instagram to post a few photos of him, enjoying some coffee at a cafe. However, what took Malaysian fans by surprise was that the cafe in question was the One Half Coffee Roastery in Petaling Jaya. In the Instagram post, the singer also shared more photos of the cafe and the neighbourhood.
It’s unclear whether the star is still in Malaysia but some lucky fans did manage to catch him while he was in town. According to China Press, the two fans posted their encounter with the star on XiaoHongShu on 26th April (Friday). The first fan praised JJ, saying he was very friendly with his fans and was very handsome in person.
In the photo shared by the fan, JJ was dressed casually in a mostly black ensemble. However, the outfit was different from the one worn in his Instagram post. The other encounter was with a female fan, who also shared the selfie she took with the star. It is believed these photos were taken when the fans met the star at another cafe in Kuala Lumpur.
After the photos were posted, many Malaysian fans were pleasantly surprised to find out that the 43-year-old was in town. Many started sharing their welcome messages to the star, wishing he would have a great time while in Kuala Lumpur. Some also hoped that they could meet him in person on the streets. However, others wonder if his frequent cafe stops in Malaysia meant he’s planning to open a branch of his Miracle Coffee cafe here.
Whatever his plans are, we hope JJ Lin has a great time while in Kuala Lumpur.
