From trainee to idol to mentor and now CEO of her own company, BLACKPINK’s Lisa (리사) has truly made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. After nearly a decade in the business, the global superstar has reached the status of a millionaire and could afford a home in Seongbuk-dong, Seoul which she introduced to fans earlier this year.
It looks like the Thai rapper isn’t done with just 1 house as she apparently went mansion hunting in the US. This week, it was reported that the K-pop idol purchased a new luxurious house in Beverly Hills. Let’s take a tour around the place.
According to Mansion Global, Lisa had gotten herself a newly renovated mansion in the States for $USD3.95 million (RM18,688,503.29)! The property is said to be over 1.3 acres with a lot of privacy and is surrounded by hills and magnificent views. The house itself is said to be 3,387-square-foot and covered with vines on the outside.
It has four bedrooms, a clay tile roof, stone flooring and vaulted wood ceilings, and is located in Coldwater Canyon, a peninsula that runs alongside the Santa Monica Mountains. Lori Harris, the Keller Williams Los Feliz real estate agent who listed the 100-year-old mansion with her colleagues, described the property to be magical saying, “Even though it’s a brand-new renovation, it has an old-world feel. You pull up in Beverly Hills, and you feel transported.”
After news broke out, fans were excited to see the “MONEY” hit-maker’s new English countryside manor, which has existed since 1924. Many congratulated the singer on her new home while a few joked that she should buy YG Entertainment next.
Some speculated that she bought the house in Los Angeles so she could be nearer to RCA Records, the label she signed a partnership with. This just shows that Lisa really meant it when she said, “Dropping all my money”.
