Over the past few months, actress Fathia Latiff has received media attention after her shocking comments towards fellow actress Zahirah MacWilson and her looks. Since then, many netizens have voiced concerns for the star and her increasingly worrying behaviour.
In a recent video, Fathia dropped another shocking comment regarding the criticism she received over the past few months. The star, whose real name is Nur Fathia binti Abdul Latiff, warns netizens to watch what they write or she’ll leave Islam because of their hate comments. The 36-year-old claimed that the comments could lead to her committing sins and no longer believing in Islam.
Fathia even went as far as to say that it wouldn’t be a sin if she left the religion because the netizens would be the ones punished for “pushing” her to that point. She continued her argument, saying the religion won’t forgive the netizens for causing hurt to a fellow Muslim with their hateful words, even if they prayed for 100 years.
The video raised even more concern for the star, with many netizens saying she should seek help from professionals and religious figures. Many also said they’ll pray for her to remain faithful to her religion, especially during Ramadan. Some also said her friends and family should monitor her behaviour and urge Fathia to get off social media to avoid more issues.
However, Fathia’s comments also struck a chord with netizens who believed the actress was guilt-tripping and blaming others for her mistakes. They say that she is responsible for her actions and shouldn’t play the victim in this situation. Others also believed that netizens wouldn’t have made the comments if she hadn’t started beefing with Zahirah MacWilson and her ex, Aiman Hakim Ridza.
Whatever the issue is, we can only hope for the best for Fathia.
