American-born Malaysian actress Diana Danielle has been busy lately, juggling her role as a mother and working on new projects. However, the actress has also become a trending topic amongst netizens who wonder if the actress may be expecting due to her weight gain.
As a response, the actress candidly spoke about her weight gain in a video on her TikTok account. In the video, Diana denied the pregnancy rumours, adding that she’s done having kids. She explained that her kids are now grown, allowing her to focus on her career, so she doesn’t have plans to have another child. She also urged the public not to speculate about her being pregnant.
Instead, Diana’s reason for her weight gain is merely indulging in good food. According to the 32-year-old, she recently hired a helper who is a good cook. Diana attributed her weight gain to the delicious food she’s been eating. However, the star said she doesn’t mind the weight gain and actually loves her new figure. She also said she wasn’t offended by “fat shaming” comments because she’s not ashamed about gaining weight.
However, Diana said she will lose some weight in the coming months to get in character for several upcoming projects. She explained that any weight loss is because of her commitment to the production and not because she was fat-shamed. Diana added that she loves her new voluptuous figure, explaining that she looks healthier and happier in her current state.
Many netizens supported the actress, saying they were glad to see Diana happy despite the comments about her body. Some said she doesn’t need to explain her situation to anyone, lamenting that netizens can be harsh with their comments. Many also showered Diana with compliments, saying she looks good regardless of weight.
We’re glad Diana remains comfortable and confident with herself – and we hope her video will stop the nasty comments and speculations.
