When it first debuted in 2011, the Salomon Speedcross 3 quickly gained popularity among off-road runners thanks to its long-lasting tread, airy cushioning, and the capacity to handle even the most rocky uphill or treacherous downhill paths.
Blooming off-road runners may not have had the opportunity to try these shoes on 13 years ago, but now they will have another chance because Salomon’s Speedcross 3 is back! Featured in lifestyle-focused Salomon Sportstyle, the Speedcross 3 will be available in several new colorways, as well as the classic “Sulphur” colour palette.
Starting with the original, the “Sulphur” variation features a vibrant yellow and red colour scheme with black and white accents, a multi-color tongue tag, and an ombre fade effect on the midsole detailing, grabbing attention from every angle.
Another would be its much calmer and cooler “Vanilla Ice,” a cream-coloured shoe with green-grey accents, a perfect combination of cool colours for those aiming for that clean look. There’s also the “White” version – a duo-tone blend of white shoes with black accents.
The Speedcross 3 also has two versions of black: one with an all-black tone with a small kiss of red by the heel known as “Quiet Shade,” as well as a marginally brighter tone that features an arona blue streak and silver accents known as “Ghost Grey.”
There is also a pair that lands right in the middle of the previous four – “Pewter”. This grey-silver pair of runners with a hint of green detailing is perfect for everyday casual use, as well as hiking.
And lastly, for those looking for a more vibrant colour option compared to the previous choice (that’s not as loud as the “Sulphur”), look no further than the “Cement” colorway. Also known as “Orchid Petal,” it features a light grey body with black accents, with a welcoming blend of coral orange and periwinkle for the outsole.
