Last October, it was announced that Prince Mateen of Brunei would be tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend and childhood friend, Dayang Anisha Rosnah Adam (Anisha Isa-Kalebic). As mentioned in our previous article, the wedding will be held for 10 days beginning with the Royal Proposal this Saturday (7th January).
Apart from the official announcement, not much has been shared about the preparations for the wedding until very recently. Here’s what we know so far:
Photos of Anisha and the official Royal wedding photography team Muash Portfolio circulated on social media earlier today (4th January). The Royal bride-to-be was dressed in an all-white wedding attire, possibly for a pre-wedding photoshoot session. According to the caption on the reposted post on Anisha’s fan page, the group photos were taken yesterday.
One of the photographers from Muash Portfolio shared the photos on his Instagram Story with a caption that reads, “Another opportunity to cover the Royal Wedding”. The location for the possible pre-wedding photoshoot session was not specified but it can be assumed that it was done at the future Princess’s family home as another member of the photography team posted a photo of the house on his Instagram Story.
Besides the photos, it is believed that the official wedding invitations had already been distributed, according to the @/support.anishaik page. Fans were obviously excited after seeing the posts with most of them commenting on how beautiful Anisha looked. Everyone seems to be getting into the spirit of things after throwback photos of the bride-to-be attending a wedding back in December as well as a childhood photo of the Royal couple were posted not too long ago.
While most fans showed nothing but love and support for Anisha for her big day this weekend, there was one individual who posted a very nasty comment (screenshot above), hoping for Prince Mateen and Anisha to break up. Not necessarily surprising cause this particular person has left many negative comments about His Royal Highness’s fiance for a very long time now as seen in the screenshots below.
Let’s just hope she doesn’t crash the wedding when the day comes. May the preparations and official ceremony go smoothly!
