It’s very concerning how there have been multiple death cases in December alone. Earlier this month, the death of a 6-year-old autistic boy shook the entire nation after it was suspected that he had been murdered and placed near a river where his body was found.
Another death case involved a local singer who was brutally murdered at the hands of an alleged crazed fan. Yesterday (Thursday, 21st December), many were horrified after finding out that a woman was found hanging at an LRT station in Selangor. Viewers’ discretion is advised:
A photo and a video of the deceased woman in a prayer garment (telekung), hanging near the Sri Andalas LRT station in Klang have gone viral after they were posted on two different Facebook pages; Selangor 雪州人 and 巴生人. The photo showed, what appears to be, a forensic officer inspecting the body while the video showed the disturbing moment the body was found.
According to Utusan, the woman was found hanging with a rope tied around her neck at a nearby structure of the LRT station, which is still under construction. Police and an ambulance arrived at the scene at around 7:30am and attracted the attention of many residents of the area. Some residents claimed that the woman was mentally ill as she was previously seen washing clothes near the station.
However, others argued that it was not the same woman as her body structure didn’t match the description. At the time of writing, the deceased has yet to be identified and it is currently unknown if this was a case of suicide or murder.
South Klang district police chief Cha Hoong Fong told local reporters that they will release an official statement once they gather more information from the investigation.
