Earlier this month, Skechers announced a contest for the chance to meet their regional brand ambassador ASTRO’s Cha Eun-Woo (차은우) at The Exchange TRX. The contest was originally opened to those with Thai-registered phone numbers, however, the Malaysian branch decided to give local fans the same opportunity to meet their idol!
If you couldn’t afford to participate or win the nationwide contest, don’t worry, as more exciting news has just been announced. Taking to his official social media platforms, the singer shared that he’ll be doing an official fan meet event next year! Here are the details:
It’s official! Cha Eun-Woo will be coming back to Malaysia for his “Just One 10 Minute 2024 – Mystery Elevator” tour! Although not many details were revealed, according to the poster of the fan meet event, it looks like he’ll be making several stops around Southeast Asia. Here are the dates announced:
- Seoul, Korea: 17th February 2024
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: 24th February 2024
- Bangkok, Thailand: 9th March 2024
- Manila, The Philippines: 16th March 2024
- Japan: 30th – 31st March 2024
- Singapore: 13th April 2024
- Jakarta, Indonesia: 20th April 2024
As mentioned, details about the time and venue for the event in KL have yet to be shared. Regardless, fans have already started showing their excitement on Twitter about the possibility of meeting their idol in person. Many were surprised that Malaysia was listed right after Seoul for the tour while others lamented the fact that the event will take place on the same day as the FT-Island and Ed Sheeran concert.
