It was an electrifying night at Bukit Jalil as Coldplay brought over 75,000 concert-goers to celebrate music; even the ongoing rain couldn’t dampen the people’s spirits.
One of the highlights of the night was when lead singer Chris Martin invited couple Afiq Baharudin and Sasha Rusley – who were dressed in their Coldplay t-shirts and were standing right at the front – up to the stage. However, little did the audiences knew that someone was popping the question in the stadium. But we’ll get to that in a bit.

What caught Chris’s eyes was Sasha’s signage, requesting for Chris to sing a song for her 2-year-old daughter Diora Iris. During the stripped down version of “Magic”, the artiste even invited Sasha to duet with him.
A few moments later, everyone’s wristband illuminate a bright yellow, signalling the performance of the smash hit single “Yellow”. While Coldplay was performing, a local man in orange t-shirt and a black cap in the seated zone (section 202) got down on one knee and held up a ring to his female companion beside him.

Friends and other concert-goers around them were seen screaming in excitement and cheering for the newly-engaged couple as they hugged and continued enjoying Coldplay’s concert. Congrats guys 😉
