What’s more frustrating than seeing a car illegally parked on the road? Seeing a luxury car illegally parked there. On Monday morning (13th November) a netizen posted a photo on the Mont Kiara Community Facebook group of a McLaren car that had inconsiderately parked at the rear entrance of a high-end condominium in Mont Kiara, blocking the garbage truck from entering to collect the rubbish.
The post went viral with many condemning the owner of the luxury vehicle for their irresponsible behaviour. One netizen named Akram Yusof claimed to know the identity of the owner of the car saying that he was the founder of Hom Malaysia and it appears that the claim is true.

After the Facebook post of the illegally parked McLaren car went viral, the owner finally admitted to parking his car at the condominium’s rear entrance. In a thread posted on Threads, the founder of Hom Malaysia, Felix Ferdinand confessed that he did park his car at the entrance for 15 minutes as he needed to use the restroom.
Unfortunately, he did not apologise for causing inconvenience to the garbage collectors or the residents of the building. The CEO did, however, address the allegations made against him by Akram. As seen in the original post above, Akram accused the business owner of scamming people; taking homeowners’ money during the Covid-19 pandemic that was meant to be used for renovations but never fulfilled his promise or refunded the money.

The Hom founder clarified that there has been progress in refunding customers’ money. However, he was not satisfied with the allegations made against him. Since the issue was brought up, the businessman has been making rude remarks and sarcastic jokes towards Akram as seen in the screenshots above. He also shared his side of the story regarding an ongoing lawsuit between him and the accuser.
Akram reposted the Threads made by Felix on the Entrepreneurs and Startups in Malaysia Facebook group and netizens have been backing him up saying that the CEO showed no remorse for any of his wrongdoings. A few came forward claiming that they had done business with Felix but had their suspicions about him.

This whole story started off with a parking dispute but then more things started to unfold. Judging by their arguments, it seems that we won’t hear the end of it anytime soon.
What do you think about the situation?
