The last person we expect to be guilty of stealing is an officer of the law. Well, this hairdresser from Seremban got a double whammy when his wife was not only stolen away from him, but by a police officer from Selangor!
Just recently, hairdresser Tee Seng Keat (郑程杰) went public with the claim that his wife had been stolen away by a police officer. He alleged he had not only been threatened by said officer, he had also been injured when the policeman attempted to run him over after being confronted.

The 34-year-old man called a press conference yesterday (7th November) with the help of Seremban Jaya assemblyman P Gunasekaran to make the issue public in an attempt to appeal for help. According to Seng Keat, he had been married to his 29-year-old Vietnamese wife for over a decade, even having two kids aged 5 and 7 respectively.
Unfortunately, things changed earlier this year when Seng Keat noticed his wife acting different. He then discovered the affair on 15th October after realising his wife had lied about visiting her sister and had instead made a trip to Melaka. He later uncovered romantic messages between her and another man when he checked her phone.
“When I confronted her about lying, she filed a police report,” Seng Keat shared. “Since then, I (hadn’t) seen her, except on 21 October, when she came to our salon.” But, it seems her lover also showed up to steal her away. Having discovered he was a police officer, Seng Keat confronted him, but claimed the officer bluntly told him: “Right (or) wrong (doesn’t matter) to me.”

The hairdresser also alleged that since he discovered his wife’s affair, he has been attempting to discuss a divorce with her. Yet, she’s supposedly been hesitant about it. As such, when she contacted the salon to inform the staff that she would be coming in on 2nd November to collect her things, Seng Keat decided to meet her there.
But, she did not come alone. Seng Keat claimed he spotted the duo in a car when he showed up, and upon his arrival, they quickly drove away. He then chased them on his motorcycle, all the way to the toll leading to KL. But at a traffic light at Jalan Rasah, Seng Keat claimed the car hit him, causing him to fall of his bike.
“I got up and screamed at them to stop,” Seng Keat stated. “But, they ignored me and attempted to hit me again by reversing the car.” The hairdresser managed to grab onto the back bumper of the car, hitting it as he shouted for them to stop, but they simply drove through the toll booth. Seng Keat lost his grip right as the car entered the highway, leaving him with multiple injuries.

Seng Keat reportedly suspected that the duo had met through a dating app as he had discovered the lover was an officer from Selangor. The hairdresser had even confirmed it himself by asking around at the police station where the officer worked. Photos of firearms on the lover’s socials supported the claim. A coworker also claimed they had been together for over three years.
Police have since been looking into the matter, confirming they had received a report regarding the issue early November. The officer in question has also been summoned to give his statement, but police have not detained him and he is reportedly still on active duty.
As for Seng Keat, he is currently staying at a friend’s house to avoid his two children worrying about his injuries. And as she has not returned to the house since, his children have reportedly been asking about her, prompting the hairdresser to lie and claim his wife is working outstation. However, he himself has supposedly not seen nor heard from her since.

It certainly is a tricky and unexpected situation! Our hearts go out to Seng Keat’s children, and we sincerely hope the matter will be resolved soon, for their sakes.
