While some content creators and influencers get praised for what they post on social media, the same can’t be said for the others who seem to post even their most private conversations.
Local influencer couple Aisyah Hijanah and Alif Teega are known as the co-founders of the brand HIJANAH and their Muslim-based content on social media. However, the couple was recently in the news after Aisyah shared a video of Alif meeting with a traditional doctor to cure a “sickness” that she claimed to have affected their marriage.

While the video did receive some positive feedback from fans, some netizens weren’t so happy that the entrepreneur decided to post a private moment for her followers to see. Many condemned the influencer’s habit of oversharing or turning everything into content, even calling it a real issue that an individual can’t stop posting on social media, even during private moments.
A Twitter user also shared a video from a live stream that Aisyah did that further proves this point. In the video, Alif was talking to Aisyah about a personal matter while she was broadcasting on a social media platform. However, instead of shutting down the live stream to give her and her partner some privacy, the entrepreneur continued the broadcast and even read some comments from the viewers.
The video led many to deem the influencer immature because of her behaviour and her dependency on her followers. Many also think that Aisyah is desperate for attention, thus believing that she needs to post everything on social media to get validation from netizens. Netizens also called out her husband Alif for having the private conversation, knowing she was on a live stream.
