BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) rapper and dancer Lisa (리사) has come a long way since her debut days, growing from an aspiring idol from Thailand into an international pop superstar – but were you ever curious about the idol’s looks before the glitzy outfits and stunning hair and makeup?
The 26-year-old has always been part of the limelight ever since she started performing at 4. After joining the dance crew We Zaa Cool as a pre-teen alongside BamBam (뱀뱀) of Got7 (갓세븐), Lisa has been actively performing in front of crowds and at competitions and auditions.
Interestingly, it seems that Lisa has always been the centre of attention because several pre-debut photos show that she has taken many solo parts during school performances. She has also always been an ace, receiving many awards for her academics and talents. Lisa has also once sported a boyish short hairstyle, far from the glamorous look she’s known for.
Her idol career took flight when she began training under YG Entertainment in 2014, leading her to where she is today.
