Many have shared their experiences of receiving the wrong order at restaurants and usually, most would simply let it go or clarify their orders to the waiters again. However, there have been some cases where customers were aggressive toward the restaurant staff over a wrong order.

Thankfully, this man did not lash out at a server but he was disappointed with the food served which tickled many netizens. Here’s what happened:

Yesterday (Thursday, 5th October), a netizen who goes by @razieriot on TikTok posted a video on his channel about his experience at a popular Mamak restaurant. According to the customer, he had ordered “Maggi Curry Soup” but instead, he received a plate of curry. Confused, the man specified his order again to the waiter.

Unfortunately, the TikToker once again did not receive the food he actually ordered as the waiter came back with a Maggi Goreng dish served with a plate of curry. As mentioned at the end of the video, the incident happened at a Nasi Kandar Pelita restaurant in Puchong. “I am this close to raging,” he said in the video.

Netizens were very entertained by the viral post which has now garnered over 700k views at the time of writing. Some pointed out that the customer should’ve just simply mentioned that he wanted a regular bowl of Maggi Curry instead of “Maggi Curry Soup” which might have confused the waiter when he took his order.

Others shared similar incidents at other restaurants where they received something completely different from what they had originally ordered. There were also those who applauded the restaurant staff members for their creativity.

While it’s unfortunate that the customer didn’t get to properly enjoy his meal, he now has, at the very least, a funny story to share at future gatherings. Have you ever had a similar funny experience of receiving the wrong order?
