In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel is proud to collaborate with Tilley, Australia’s oldest manufacturer of soap, scented soy candles and home fragrance products, in presenting the ‘Pink Up The Skies’ high tea set for the entire month of October 2023. The Hotel is also teaming up with Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Pink Unity, a support group for women cancer survivors under the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM), to jointly raise breast cancer awareness.

Curated by TRACE’s culinary team led by Executive Chef Taib Ridhwan and Sous Chef Hasrul Hawari, the decadent tea set features 6 types of savory delicacies and 5 types of rose-tinted sweets that are bound to please both the eyes and taste buds. Highlights include the Blinis with Raspberry Cream Cheese and Rose Infused Caviar, BBQ Pulled Beef Short Ribs Tortilla Wrap, Rose Pana Cotta with Strawberry Cream Cheese, and Pink-Coated Red Velvet Popsicle.

Each set (for 2 persons) is priced at RM148 nett, inclusive of a hot pot of Dilmah tea.

Dorsett Grand Subang 

Dorsett Grand Subang has taken all your favourite traditional Malaysian dishes to new heights.

To spice up your palate, dive into otak-otak siew mai, curry chicken bun, petai bun, black pepper siew mai and otak-otak lemongrass ball.  While you’re at it, don’t forget the steamed rice roll “Taiwan style’ with egg and smoked duck. The Emperor Chinese Restaurant, known for its authentic Muslim-friendly dim sum, also offers a range of all-time favourites, ranging from its ever-so-famous steamed bun with BBQ chicken; crispy cheong fun with prawns that’s undoubtedly everyone’s favourite by far, the oh-so-juicy and freshest of prawn dumplings, deep-fried prawn roll with cheese, deep-fried durian, and not to be missed, deep-fried Chinese pancake.

Although not on the menu, guests can also ask the service staff to add this to your order.  If you are not a fan of Chinese pancake, rest assured you will want to try this one from The Emperor. Pan-fried to perfection with the right crispiness and filled with generous amount of lotus paste, this makes the perfect sweet ending to a perfect Affairs of The Heart indulgence. For durian lovers, there’s the deep-fried durian that’s practically oozing with durian pulp with every bite!

Dim sum at The Emperor Chinese Restaurant of Dorsett Grand Subang is available daily for lunch from 12 noon to 2.30pm (except on Mondays). A-la-carte dim sum is priced from RM12 nett per order. On Sundays, there’s the Dim Sum Brunch, which is available from 11.30am to 2pm, priced at RM108 nett (Adults)/RM85 nett for Senior Citizens aged 60 years and above/RM54 nett for children.

Savour the hallmark flavours of this season, from traditional favourites to exciting new combinations, including Lotus Paste with Double or Single Yolk, Golden Jade with Single Yolk, Pu Er Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Green Tea Lotus Paste and Red Bean Paste. Other delightful options include the novel Durian Lotus Paste and Durian Lotus Paste with Single Yolk. A low sugar alternative is also available in the form of White Lotus Paste Low in Sugar mooncake.

Flavours of Genting mooncakes are reasonably priced between RM19 to RM28 each. What’s more, they are Muslim-friendly, so everyone can indulge in the treat with no reservations. Bulk buyers have the option of encasing their gift of delectable treats in specially-designed mid-autumn teal or crimson boxes. Alternatively, you have the option to choose from four different gift sets starting at RM108. Each gift set includes four different mooncakes and an additional treat, such as a Pu Er raw tea cake, a box of 12 pieces pineapple tart or durian biscuits.
