Ameera Khan is known to attract much attention with whatever she posts on social media. The younger sister of actress-host Neelofa previously posted a photo of her holiday in Indonesia where many suspected a ghostly entity had appeared in the background.
Prior to that, she was called out for promoting the new Samsung phone after ridiculing the brand back in 2018. One of her recent Instagram Stories certainly drew a lot of negative attention to the point where many even accused her of gambling. Here’s what happened:

Over the weekend, Ameera Khan posted a carousel post of herself rocking a full Longchamp outfit from their new LongchampFW23 collection. The Malaysian influencer also posted an Instagram story where she was seen wearing the same outfit at a horse racing track (possibly in France) while holding pieces of paper in her hands.
“Placed my bets,” she captioned the story which has led many to believe she participated in betting on the race. For your information, gamblers placing bets on the participating horses has been a common practice at many of these races and as many would know, gambling is considered Haram in Islam.
The local celeb’s IG story has since been reposted on Twitter where many criticised her for participating in a prohibited activity. However, some came to her defence saying that people are making a big deal out of nothing and taking things out of context since the 30-year-old’s caption could also refer to the brand’s slogan for their new collection.

A few also considered the possibility that she was simply posing for the photo to promote Longchamp’s latest collection. At the time of writing, there has been no information on whether Ameera has addressed these allegations but judging from past controversies, it’s safe to assume that she probably won’t bother explaining herself since people will say anything about her anyway.
