We’ve heard of people exposing their partner’s affair – or even their own – but it’s rare to find out that the homewrecker was someone with a relation to some celebs.
A woman identified as Misya recently shared the story of her husband’s affair with the daughter of two local celebrities. In her Twitter thread, she shared that she had known her now ex-husband for seven years and had been married for three.
The two also have two young children, aged 2 and 1. She then revealed that the marriage was ruined by a third person, Marissa Dania Hakim. Many recognised the name as the daughter of local actress Abby Abadi and actor Norman Hakim.
According to Misya, the affair has been going on for a long time, adding that her instinct led to her uncovering evidence. In her thread, the woman shared that her ex-husband and Marissa had checked into a hotel, even providing the hotel booking receipt. She also shared a screenshot of a message from an unknown number, hinted to be Marissa, apologising for the affair.
The thread has since been going viral, with many netizens expressing their shock at the revelation. Many also equated the scandal to that of Marissa’s parents, as Norman was also once caught cheating on Abby with his now-wife and Marissa’s stepmother, Memey Suhaiza.
Marissa’s mother has responded to the claims that her daughter was a homewrecker but vehemently denied the allegations. She also denied apologising to Misya on her daughter’s behalf when they had met previously. Norman has yet to speak up on the scandal but his Instagram posts have been flooded by comments about his daughter.
While many were disappointed in Marissa’s action, they also said that Misya’s husband had a bigger role in the affair, claiming that he groomed the 18-year-old as she was still underage when the alleged affair took place.
