Cue the wedding bells: another local couple is set to walk down the aisle. Anjoe Koh (许愫恩) is still on cloud nine as she took to socials to share some delightful news to followers, friends, and family. The Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2014 champion is newly engaged!
The 32-year-old Kedah-born beauty has been holidaying in Queenstown, New Zealand. Unbeknownst to her, boyfriend Daniel Tan had planned an elaborate proposal where he got down on one knee to pop the question while they were 5000 feet above ground and surrounded by white snow.
In her heartwarming post, Anjoe Koh – or Ann – wrote that “my boy came through on his promise” on their 5th year anniversary when he asked her hand in marriage on 1st September 2023. “I thought this was just an adventurous trip. I didn’t expect him to pull such an extravagant gesture. It totally made me feel as though I was in a K-drama. Thank you for loving me unconditionally,” the Malaysian beauty queen expressed, before officially calling Daniel “my fiance”.
In case you didn’t know, Daniel Tan was once called “the most handsome doctor in Malaysia” due to his good-looking appearance and hunky physic. Together, the duo certainly are couple goals. Anjoe and Daniel got acquainted before 2019 after the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant winner injured her spine after skiing in Japan. She was recommended to Daniel’s Aligned Chiropractic clinic and it didn’t take long before sparks flew – the rest is history.
