Artist and YouTuber Maze Lin (林嘉凌) is undeniably attractive, especially with her fiery demeanour and sensual figure. However, that apparently hasn’t stopped people from being confused about her gender.
Maze Lin recently appeared on talk show, “蔷蔷变性人” to share one of her outrageous stories. As it turns out, she once told a fib for variety show “Guess Guess Guess (我猜我猜我猜猜猜)”, claiming to be transgender. Well, the fib sparked plenty of confusing rumours which apparently tricked her then-boyfriend into believing it!
In 2007, Maze had debuted in the entertainment scene officially with an appearance on popular variety show “Guess Guess Guess”. At the time, they were playing a game which involved telling outrageous fibs. Maze had blatantly claimed then that she was transgender and that she had served in the army; all untrue, of course. Unfortunately, her fib got out of hand.
Netizens believed her lie and rumours began spreading on the internet, confirming that she was actually transgender. Some even added to the story, claiming to have seen Maze getting her transgender surgery done at the same clinic as them. It troubled her a lot, but not as much as when her boyfriend asked to clarify the rumour with her. “We’ve had sex (before), and (he) still asked me if I was transgender!” she exclaimed, offended.
But, Maze admitted that people often mistake her gender, especially when she’s traveling in Thailand. The artist shared that she’s often asked if she is a boy or a girl while there. As such, she recently uploaded photos of her younger self with her dad on father’s day to prove she was a girl. “I have been a girl since I was a child,” she reportedly wrote. “My father’s daughter.” She added she would block anyone who claimed she was transgender again.
Well, Maze Lin does seem to have bad luck when it comes to relationships. She recently had a wild date with an Indian man in Canada, but sadly, they ended up parting ways. Fingers crossed she’ll find someone good for her, eventually!
