Those who grew up in the Klang Valley might be familiar with Amcorp Mall. The shopping complex is known to many as the go-to place for antique lovers and vintage collectors, especially during the famous weekend flea market. While some of us may have grown up visiting the mall, others have just begun discovering it.
Katie is a British expatriate in Kuala Lumpur who was introduced to Amcorp Mall by a friend. Being a thrift and vintage fan, it’s no surprise that Katie fell in love with the shopping centre on her first visit. She shared her little adventures through TikTok, checking out the shops and stall in the quiet mall.

In her first video of Amcorp Mall, Katie shared her initial experience visiting the shops and independent stalls and interacting with a few friendly locals. She also shared a few of her favourite shops and said she got a few vintage vinyls, books, and accessories from her trip.
Of course, that wasn’t the only time the expat visited the mall because, after receiving suggestions from locals to visit the flea market, she returned to thrift for more goodies. In her second video, the TikToker said the mall is one of the coolest places she’s been to and called the mall “a vibe”. During her second trip, the content creator shared that she got some vintage Malaysian stamps, plus a few pre-loved books.
After sharing her love for the mall, Katie received tons of comments from locals who shared their fond memories of Amcorp Mall. Some even called it a treasure and were happy that Katie discovered the hidden gem. A few vintage fans also commented they’ll definitely visit Amcorp Mall once they’re in town.
