After what happened at Good Vibes Festival and Lauv’s Kuala Lumpur concert cancellation, many became worried about the future of concerts and music festivals in Malaysia when it comes to international acts.
Rules and guidelines may become stricter, however, they won’t necessarily stop an iconic rock band from doing a show in our country. It’s been hinted that My Chemical Romance may be doing a concert here soon! Here’s what we know so far:

Despite the delay for the Muse concert that took place last weekend, fans were still grateful to the organiser Hello Universe for making the show a success as they’ve waited years to see the UK band live. Many thanked the organiser’s founder and CEO, Adam Ashraf Kingsman by replying to his Facebook post about his experience of putting the show together.
Some requested for many legendary rock bands to come to our shores such as Evanescence, Blink 182, Foo Fighters, and Artic Monkeys but the most requested band in the comments section was My Chemical Romance (MCR). That dream may come true as Adam hinted that he and his team will make it happen by replying, “Soon” to some of the comments.
If you’re wondering how soon, the founder answered that they’ll try to bring the “Welcome To The Black Parade” artist to our shores next year. His vague yet convincing answers obviously sent fans over the moon with many of them attempting to manifest the dream into reality.

For your information, My Chemical Romance previously did a concert at Stadium Merdeka back in 2007 attended by more than 10k fans singing along to their songs at the top of their lungs. We’re definitely looking forward to the official announcement once it’s confirmed.
Will you be attending the show?
