Last year, residents of an apartment building in Kuala Lumpur caught a man sniffing women’s underwear while masturbating to them. A woman, who only wishes to be identified as Liu, recently shared a similar incident that happened to her after she rented an apartment unit in Singapore with her boyfriend.
As reported by Shin Min Daily News yesterday (Thursday, 6th July), the Malaysian woman burst into tears after discovering that the male landlord broke into their home and sniffed her underwear while masturbating.

The traumatising incident was reported to have happened earlier in May at Kim Keat Link. The couple told the news outlet that they had installed a CCTV camera in their bedroom for safety precautions as they were told by previous tenants that the female landlord likes to bring prospective tenants into the house when no one is home.
One day, Liu received a notification that someone had entered her room while she was at work. She immediately checked the live footage on her phone and much to her horror, she saw the male landlord naked in the room. It was reported that the landlord was looking through the woman’s underwear and sniffing them before he started masturbating.
The pervert placed the underwear back in its original spot after he was done pleasuring himself. Liu and her boyfriend immediately filed a police report the same day. Police arrived at the scene and collected evidence which include the underwear from the CCTV footage along with three other pairs of underwear and another three items of clothing. It was said that the investigation is still ongoing.

According to the victim’s boyfriend, the landlord allegedly refused to apologise for the incident and did not want to return the couple’s money that they used to pay the deposit and rent. Despite moving out of the apartment unit, Liu told the news outlet that she was traumatised from the experience and hadn’t had a good night’s sleep to this day. “I would start tearing up in the day, and then eventually break down. I was having nightmares almost every night,” she said.
At the time of writing, there has been no update on the case. The female landlord reportedly refused to comment on the issue. We hope that the victim is getting all the help she needs to deal with her trauma and that the perpetrator will receive punishment.
