A few months ago, a TikToker went viral for giving away RM1000 cash to strangers on the streets of Bukit Bintang. Around the same time, the content creator also announced that he was giving away Perodua Bezza cars to 10 lucky viewers.
The influencer had posted videos of winners happily accepting the cars but these men are claiming that the contest was never real and that the winners were actually paid actors. Here’s the full story:

Yesterday (Wednesday, 5th July), two men posted a series of videos on their respective TikTok channels to expose a local TikToker known as Cikgu Faiz for lying about the Perodua Bezza giveaway. In a video posted by Wafee Nazri, he shared a police report that was filed by one of the paid actors against the popular influencer after finding out that he was fooled by the “fake” contest.
The talent claimed that he was hired as an actor to play the role of someone who had just won a car and was not aware that the footage would be used by the TikToker as a gimmick to make people believe that the giveaway was legit. The man only discovered Cikgu Faiz’s true intention of the video after it went viral and his friends asked him if he had really won a Perodua Bezza. “I just want to clear my name. I didn’t win anything, I was only hired as an actor,” the talent said in the video above.
Not only that, the man also alleged that he was threatened by the influencer’s agency if he were to expose this. In another video posted by Fhairul Fizzy, he confronted a man at Subang Parade who happened to be one of the paid actors for Cikgu Faiz’s viral giveaway video. The man denied knowing anything about the content posted by the influencer. When asked about the payment, the man also denied that he received payment for the video.

There is currently no update if the other winners were legit or also paid actors. After a quick check on Cikgu Faiz’s TikTok channel, we can confirm that all the Perodua Bezza giveaway videos have since been deleted. At the time of writing, the public figure has yet to release a statement regarding the allegations made against him.
This shows that influencers would go to great lengths to deceive the public in order to gain clout.
