Speaking of which, celebrity couple Tya Arifin and Asyraf Khalid were recently called out online for allegedly mistreating staff members at a hotel. For those who are wondering, Twitter user PU Ronal was the one who spilled the tea about the married couple. Here’s what he revealed:
PU Ronal tweeted, “This couple is fake. All hotel staff in Malaysia know what their behaviour is like. They act like they’re kind-hearted and pious on social media, but they would treat hotel staff rudely. Both the wife and the husband are the same. CTDK (Asyraf’s stepmom) is the only decent one, and she’s friendly. This fella and his wife are the opposite.”
It didn’t take too long before Asyraf issued his response to the netizen’s claims. Speaking in an interview with Gempak, the entrepreneur pointed out that he always tries to please the people he meet in public. “As far as I know, I try my best to pay my respects to others. But I’m not sure on whether I was unintentionally being rude towards them,” Asyraf explained. “I would like to apologise if I had unknowingly hurt their feelings.”
In this case, it’s important to note that celebrities are human too. Just like the rest of us, they also have their bad days. But this shouldn’t excuse them from being rude to others.
