Ever heard of the slang ‘GOAT’? Basically, it means the ‘Greatest Of All Time’, or the best of the best. Recently, netizens from mainland China voted for who they think are the GOATs from local Chinese stars in terms of looks, personality and success. Those who came out on top were Dylan Wang (王鹤棣), Wang Yibo (王一博), Xiao Zhan (肖战), and Jackson Yee (易烊千玺), outshining the rest.
Following the list, TVB (Television Broadcasts Limited) has also compiled a list of the top 4 most famous actors contracted under their broadcasting company. Who might these four be? Check them out here:
Moses Chan (陳豪)
As one of the most notable actors from TVB, Moses Chan has appeared as the lead role in many well-known Hong Kong dramas since his debut in 2000. Till this day, he is one of the top actors in the company and is still steadily tied to TVB. Some of the dramas he has acted in are “Beyond The Realm Of Conscience (宮心計)”, “Heart of Greed (溏心風暴)” and “Can’t Buy Me Love (公主嫁到)”. Other than his success in the acting industry, he has also branch out into the coffee business.
Something else worthy of noting is that the well-loved actor is known for being a doting husband and father. For 10 years now, Moses has been married to actress Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) and their relationship is still as sweet as ever. Even with his busy schedule, he would still make time for his wife and children. It only makes sense for him to be one of the top TVB actors of all time.
Kenneth Ma (馬國明)
Through years of hard work and dedication, Kenneth Ma has gained a large following from audiences from around the world for his acting skills. Giving him the title as TVB’s ‘best of the best’ can’t be anymore fitting as he is the only TVB actor with the most wins in the Most Popular Male Character category at the TVB Anniversary Awards. Many also commended Kenneth on how well he handled the cheating scandal of his ex-girlfriend, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎).
The actor is best known for his role in the dramas “The Hippocratic Crush (On Call 36小時)”, “The Exorcist’s Meter (降魔的)” and “Survivor’s Law (律政新人王Ⅱ)”. Ever since he announced his relationship with actress Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯), the two have gained the favour from fans.
Vincent Wong (王浩信)
Vincent Wong first debuted as a singer, and later signed a contract with TVB. His career as an actor has been really smooth, with him starring in a quite a few popular Hong Kong dramas, namely, “Over Run Over (EU超时任务)”, “The Unlawful Justice Squad (踩过界)” and “Wish and Switch (换乐无穷)”. As of recent years, the actor has been focusing more on expanding his career in mainland China rather than in Hong Kong. However, this still does not deny the effort he has put in as a TVB actor, which earned him the title as one of the best stars in TVB.
Kalok Chow (周嘉洛)
If you’ve been keeping up with the annual TVB Anniversary Awards, this one rising star would has caught your eyes. As one of the youngest to bring home the award for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ and ‘Most Popular Male Actor’, Kalok is one of the most anticipated upcoming male actor in TVB. He still has a long way to reach the level of the three actors mentioned above, but given his strength in acting and comedic personality, he is very well on his way there. One of the popular works the 27-year-old has starred in is “Lo And Behold (爱回家之开心速递)”.
