Love is something that is really beautiful and unique for everyone. When you truly love someone, you would consider moving into the next phase of life with them, which is marriage.
Last night (28th June 2023), Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao (萧敬腾) announced some very unexpected yet good news. He had proposed to his manager, Summer Lin (林有慧), and she accepted his proposal. Netizens were both surprised and ecstatic for both of them as they welcome a new chapter of their life.
For 16 years, there have many rumours suggesting the singer was dating his manager, but their response has always been ambiguous. Now, we can confirm their relationship as he popped the question to his fiancée on 26th June and was able to hear the one important answer like he hoped to. Although this news might be a bit sudden, the 36-year-old shared that he was really happy and wanted those who love him and those whom he loves to know it.
“I have music, basketball, close friends, and my family who loves me. I also have you all who have been constantly supporting me. I have a lot. Now, I have love – a love that is truly complete. I’m so glad that I have entered this stage of my life. I hope to receive your blessings, and I hope you’ll find happiness that belongs to you and you only,” he wrote in his caption.
Apparently, June 27th was Summer’s birthday and Jam used that day as an opportunity to announce this good news and wish her a happy birthday. “Yes, I’ve officially said goodbye to the single life. I will cherish and love her well. I will use my joy as inspiration in my works and I will cherish all the good and bad that God has given me. Thank you for reading my joy with patience. Thank you and I love you all.”
