Have you ever been to a water park and got on those fast water slides? Well, this man recently did – but his experience didn’t end on a fun note. Unfortunately, he got stuck twice while on the ride and the video of the incident unlocked a new fear for netizens.
TikTok user Jami was at the Escape Theme Park in Penang when he decided to go on the Super Looper water slide. To document his experience on the ride, he also brought a 360-degree camera with him. The first few seconds of the ride went smoothly, but he soon came to an abrupt stop.

Jami then tried to spin himself to pick up speed again, but he only managed to slide down a short distance before coming to a second stop. At this point, he began to panic and tried to crawl in the narrow slide while yelling for help. Fortunately, a ride attendant soon rescued him, getting Jami out through an escape latch by the side of the water slide.
In the video’s caption, Jami said that it was the first and last time he’ll go on that slide, adding that he’s traumatised by the incident. After the video went viral, netizens shared their reactions, with many saying they were already scared just by watching Jami’s video.
Many commented that they have claustrophobia, so they would’ve cried if they were in Jami’s position. One netizen said that in addition to triggering one’s claustrophobia, another fear would be if someone else had slid down and collided with you while you were stuck.
We’re glad that Jami got out of that situation safely – and we definitely understand if he never gets on a water slide again.
