Living in an apartment complex means you’ll encounter all sorts of neighbours. Unfortunately, that also means you’ll meet the nasty ones who throw their trash everywhere. One Twitter user recently shared her experience with one of these disgusting neighbours.
Recently, user @/abcdefghermoine tweeted out, “Good morning to everyone, except those who like throwing condoms everywhere. No one is safe,” along with the image of a used condom on the top of her car, which was likely thrown by someone from the upper floor of the nearby apartment building. “I don’t know. I’m not sure if I should be angry, sad, or disappointed,” she tweeted before adding that she had also sent her car to a car wash to get it cleaned.
In an interview with a local news site, she revealed that the incident happened at a secured apartment complex in Petaling Jaya, where she resides. She said that she found the soiled condom when she was leaving for work and immediately felt depressed when she saw the item on top of her car.
In the same interview, the car owner shared a message with the perpetrator, “Even if you think it was just a small and simple act, you’ll never know if that small action can have a big effect on people. It’s not a nice thing to do.” She also warned others against doing the same thing and urged everyone to have some common sense and practice better hygiene.
After the tweet went viral, other netizens also shared their opinion of the incident, with many unsurprisingly disgusted and disappointed by the irresponsible actions of the perpetrator. One user shared that a similar incident happened to her last month, saying she found a used condom outside her kitchen window.
It’s sickening how irresponsible and filthy some people can be. We hope this incident doesn’t happen to the car owner again.
