There have been way too many Mat Rempit cases in Malaysia over the years. The most tragic one involved an 18-year-old crashing into a car and dying at the scene. Despite the countless accident and death cases, many motorcyclists are still seen performing these stunts every now and then.
This issue has become even more concerning after a delivery rider was recently caught carrying out a dangerous act in broad daylight without a care in the world. Watch the short clip here:

Yesterday (Wednesday, 7th June), the Jabatan Netizen Malaysia Twitter page posted a video showing what appears to be a Lalamove/Foodpanda rider performing a dangerous balancing act on the road. He was seen sitting on his motorcycle’s storage box with both his feet on the seat while his hands were not even holding the handlebars.
While it was not mentioned where this incident took place, netizens speculated that it happened in Ampang, more specifically around the Pandan Indah area. The video attracted many negative reactions from Malaysians with most condemning the rider for endangering not only his own safety but the safety of other road users.
Scrolling through the comments, some have also tagged the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to investigate the incident and arrest the reckless motorcyclist. One even claimed to have witnessed this act that was said to have happened over the weekend.
Remember to always stay vigilant while on the road and report any dangerous or illegal activities to the authorities.
