Chinese internet celebrities 大弟二哥呀 are known for being twins and for the many antics they can get up to as twins. Well, their latest video showed them eating at a hotpot buffet. The catch? They pretended to be the same person so that the both of them could eat for the price of one.

The 29-year-old twins, reportedly from Henan, had apparently been curious as to whether they would be able to pay for a single portion at a hotpot buffet, by taking turns to eat. Well, the two decided to test out their experiment, and to their delight, it went pretty well.
They decided on a restaurant that offered an all-you-can-eat hotpot buffet set worth RMB33 (~RM21.33). To make sure things went well, they had dressed alike that day and worked out a plan to not get caught. It was decided that the elder twin would eat first, before he would leave for the toilet which was outside of the restaurant, to switch with his younger brother.
Needless to say, it went very smoothly and the two were able to eat their fill. The younger twin had been a little nervous about returning to the restaurant masquerading as his older brother, but the owners didn’t seem to notice anything different when he ‘returned’. He also managed to pay for their food without a hitch and was ecstatic when he met up with his brother.

However, the twins didn’t let things end there. The two later confessed what they had done to the restaurant owner and paid for a second portion. Thankfully, the owner did not seem upset with their actions. In fact, he even praised them, saying what they had done was “very interesting“.
At the time of writing, their video has gained 114 thousand likes and over 4 million views. It seems netizens got a kick out of watching the duo try their experiment. Well, we’re glad to know that their trick went well, but kudos to them for coming clean about it as well!
